Advance Puppy Classes are about helping dog owners handle the next phase of their dogs development once they have finished puppy class.  We want to help you by building on the foundation of skills laid down in the Puppy Class that you attended, teaching dog owners how to get faster, more reliable behaviours by understanding the importance of reinforcement to your puppy.

 

One of the cornerstones of our training philosophy is helping dog owners reduce their frustration towards their dog, and start focusing on the behaviours that they want to see.  So if you have finish puppy school, but still feel like you are a broken record of  nos, uh-uhs, and don'ts, this is the class that you have been looking for.


If you have not yet been to puppy class and your dog is under 20 weeks, check out  Puppy Class to give your puppy what they need.  If you are a graduate of Doggy Dogma Puppy Class, or Advance Puppy Class take a look at Beyond Puppy Class – this one is for you.


Advanced Puppy Classes at Ipswich:

Week Two: Impulse Control:
•  The importance of restraint & self control
•  Out (Release)
•  Body Language – Calming Signals
•  Leave it/Take it
•  On your mat
•  Jumping Up

Week Three: Stay & Come when called:
•  Revision: On your mat
•  Stay
•  Stay vs Wait
•  Recall – fun and games
•  Using toys as a reward
•  Alone Time

Week Four: Walking with your dog:
•  Engaging your dog on a Walk
•  Loose Lead Walking
•  Walking – Heel
•  Graduation
